Chinese New Year Chic

6 looks to wear on Chinese New Year

Red has always been the color for celebrating the Chinese New Year. However this 2012, black has been identified as one of the auspicious colors of the dragon.  We think this is surprising since black is never worn during Chinese New Year (considered a color of mourning). But if you want to wear black and still have a celebratory vibe, combine it with happy colors to brighten the look up. You can also wear reds and blues to welcome the year of the Water Dragon with a bang!

Check out our looks below:

BLACK

Black is the favorite color of the fire-breathing dragons. But we love how you can combine or accentuate it with vibrant colors like tangerine to have this positive and bright look.
